My main research interest is consciousness. More concretely, for the foreseeable future, I am trying to see whether ideas from structural causal modelling (SCMs) and causal inference can help in clarifying, comparing and testing theories of consciousness. I am also interested in the metaphysics of consciousness and causation, and in possible connections between the two.
